Annual LADC Diversity Roundtable Discussion “Covering” – Hiding One’s Authentic Self with Professor Kenji Yoshino

LADC invites you to attend our Annual Diversity Roundtable, featuring an interactive session with Kenji Yoshino, Professor of Constitutional Law at NYU School of Law and author of Covering: The Hidden Assault on Our Civil Rights.  This engaging discussion will take a closer look into how everyone, regardless of background, faces pressure to “cover,” or downplay certain attributes to blend into the mainstream, and how this has a negative effect on both individuals and the organization.  We will learn how a more authentic workplace culture benefits everyone, and explore actionable solutions to create and sustain that culture.
