Atenedoro currently serves as the Deputy Director and General Counsel to the Children's Arts & Science Workshops, an education based non-profit organization that provides year-round education services to 22 host sites throughout the Bronx and Upper Manhattan, targetting low income and immigrant communities.
Previously, Atenedoro spent 5 years as a tenants rights attorney with Bronx Legal Services, bringing litigation on behalf of tenatns and tenant associations to enforce their rights as renters, obtain repairs and renovations, and protect from tenant harassment, overcharge, and abuse.
Atenedoro also served the General Counsel to Council Member Oswald Feliz of the 15th Council District. In his time there Atenedoro drafted several key pieces of legislation around fire safety and tenants rights. Atenedoro also supervised the constituent services clinic in the office, training staff to be knowledgeable on all issues of public benefits, housing, employment, and real estate issues.
