Bio
Vianny M. Pichardo is an attorney in Anderson Kill's New York office. She received her B.A. from New York University in 2002 and her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School in 2008. Vianny's practice concentrates on insurance recovery, exclusively on behalf of policyholders, in corporate and commercial litigation and environmental law. She is also a member of the firm's Women's Initiative Group and the Diversity Committee. In 2015, Vianny was recognized by Super Lawyers as a New York Metro Rising Star for Insurance Coverage. Prior to joining the firm, Vianny was a transactional associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where her practice focused on large corporate transactions and litigation matters.
At Fordham University School of Law, Vianny was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal (ADR staff member); participated in the Housing Rights Clinic and the Social Justice Clinic; and was a member of the Minority Mentorship Program and the Academic Enrichment Program. Vianny also received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Vianny was also a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Sallie Manzanet-Daniels in the Bronx Supreme Court.
Vianny sits on the New York University CAS Alumni Board and Co-chairs the Events Committee. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and member of the Mentoring & the Pipeline Committee and Sponsor Relations Committee as well as a PALS Mentor.
Vianny was elected to the Board of Directors of The Dominican Bar Association in 2014, where she also served as Treasurer, Chair of its Youth Outreach Committee, and Co-Chair of the Scholarship Gala Committee.
